Operation Overview
Aragats Operations offers tailored high-altitude ski touring and splitboarding experiences across the volcanic peaks of Mount Aragats (North 4,090 m, South, East, and West). We organize fully customized outings designed around your group’s physical fitness and mountain experience.
Group Ratios: Small group structure capped at 4 riders per 1 experienced lead mountain guide. Larger parties are divided into dedicated subgroups with their own guide.
Flexible Weather Corridor: Operations include a flexible 2–3 day weather window to select the safest day with maximum visibility and optimal snowpack.
Safety Protocols: Continuous support from experienced mountain guides throughout the ascent and descent, two-way radio communication, pre-checked lines, and active avalanche management.
Base Package Details: Private round-trip 4x4 ground transfers departing strictly from Yerevan, experienced mountain guide support, and group radio communication.
2. Technical Specs
Operational Season: January – June (Long season covering mid-winter powder to high-alpine spring crust)
Target Summits: North Peak (4,090 m), East Peak, South Peak, West Peak
Starting Elevation: ~2,000 m – 2,200 m
Vertical Gain (Ascent): 1,000 m – 1,800+ vertical meters
Slope Angles: 22° – 38° (rolling alpine bowls to steep summit couloirs)
Group Ratio: Strictly 4 riders + 1 experienced guide per group
Logistics: Private 4x4 transfers directly from Yerevan
4. Booking & Conditions
Base Rate: Starting from AMD 80,000 per person ( for a minimum group of 4 riders / AMD 320,000 total per group).
Included in Base Price: Private round-trip transfer (Yerevan – Aragats – Yerevan), experienced mountain guide, and two-way radio equipment.
NOT INCLUDED in Base Price:
Insurance: Personal medical & high-altitude sports insurance.
Emergency Evacuation: Helicopter emergency rescue/evacuation coverage.
Equipment: Avalanche safety kits (beacon, probe, shovel) and personal ski-tour/splitboard gear (rentals available upon request).
Meals: Food, thermos, and trail snacks.
Motorized Support: Optional snowmobile approach transfers (billed separately).
